AC Milan midfielder Tommaso Pobega says there's plenty of positives to draw from their preseason defeat to Real Madrid.

Real won 3-2 in Los Angeles after the Rossoneri's initial 2-0 lead via Fikayo Tomori and Luka Romero goals, was pegged back by two goals from Fede Valverde and one from Vinicius Jr.

Pobega later said: "We are satisfied, it was an important test, we immediately raised the level."

What changes compared to last season?

"We tried a different approach in possession."

The new midfield signing, Ruben Loftus-Cheek?

"It's always nice to play with strong players."
