The agent of Papu Gomez has flirted with the idea of his client returning to Italy, with Milan and Inter’s respective stances having been outlined.

According to Calciomercato.com, Papu Gomez is happy with the choice he made to join Sevilla from Atalanta, but through the words of his agent Giuseppe Riso came an opening to the idea of potentially coming back to Italy.

Sevilla paid €7m for the Argentine who is extremely happy with the decision he made given that his relationship with Gasperini was irreparable, but – as confirmed by Riso – the idea of a return remains concrete: “He is very happy in Seville but he loves Italy so in the future I do not rule out his return to Serie A.”

To date though the 33-year-old does not represent a priority or a concrete market idea for either Milan or Inter. The Nerazzurri have not yet completed the sales that are needed settle the budget while for the Rossoneri it all depends on what will happen with Calhanoglu and, in case of farewell, the lunge for Rodrigo De Paul. At the end of the transfer market though, it could be a possibility.
