Enzo Raiola, the representative of Alessio Romagnoli, cast minor doubts about the long-term permanence of his client at Lazio. He spoke to Corriere dello Sport.

“He’s very happy with them, but there are some situations that need to be evaluated. He was coming off an important situation, also economically. He accepted Claudio Lotito’s conditions, the best he could offer, with the promise of sitting down and completing the path later on. Everything was tied to the next steps the Biancocelesti had to make, like qualifying for the Champions League or reaching the knock-out stage. The president voiced ambitions related to the growth of the club. Most of them have already come true.”

Raiola refused to clearly state that Romagnoli would finish his career with Lazio.

“We must meet with the owner again. I’m sure he’ll keep his promises. You can’t make plans in football. However, everybody can see that he’s shining again in Rome.”

On top of dishing on Romagnoli, Raiola commented on Luca Pellegrini and his Roma spell so far.

“He was coming off a not-so-happy time at Juventus, where they didn’t comprehend him. He’s reborn with them. He no longer started after his injury against Atletico Madrid because Maurizio Sarri wanted more balance. He never questioned his talent or future. It’s normal for him to have suffered because of his exclusions. We haven’t thought about changing project for now. He wants to play more, and he’ll earn it on the pitch. The coach should better consider his potential.”
