Como starlet Nico Paz, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez and Juventus striker Nico Gonzalez are among Serie A players called up for Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers.

The reigning World Cup and Copa America holders will travel to Chile on June 5 and host Colombia on June 10 to book their spot at the tournament in the USA, Mexico and Canada in 2026.

Coach Lionel Scaloni named his preliminary squad for those two fixtures, which could be cut down or adjusted if there are injuries closer to the games.

Argentina packed with Serie A players

They include several Serie A representatives, including Inter captain Lautaro Martinez, who is given no rest between the Champions League Final on May 31 and the start of the Club World Cup in mid-June.

Como talent Nico Paz is again brought in after making his debut, while Lazio striker Taty Castellanos and Juventus forward Nico Gonzalez complete the attack.

Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes gets the nod, but his Giallorossi teammate Paulo Dybala is out for the rest of the season following surgery.
