Atletico Madrid are reported to be the favourites in the hunt for Atalanta midfielder Ederson, who has also been linked with Juventus and Tottenham.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Diego Simeone has put the Brazilian top of his wish-list going into the summer to reinforce the middle of the park.

They are so determined to get the better of the competition that they are ready to pay the €30m asking price placed on his head by Atalanta.

Juve and Spurs have also shown an interest in Ederson, along with his more expensive teammate Teun Koopmeiners.

The former Salernitana man is under contract until June 2026 and impressed this season with six goals and two assists in 36 competitive games for La Dea.

He turns 25 in July and was purchased from Salernitana for €21.4m in the summer of 2022.

Ederson first came to Italy from Corinthians to Salernitana in January 2022 for €6.5m and his value sky-rocketed in just six months in Serie A.
