Roberto Baggio is enjoying the progress of Fiorentina this season.

The former Italy captain has also signaled out Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez as a player he follows.

Speaking at the Trento Sports Festival, Baggio told TMW: "Fiorentina is playing great football and Italiano is a very good coach. Congratulations to them. Last year Napoli played wonderful football, the Scudetto was deserved.

"I hope that Luciano Spalletti can repeat himself as manager of Italy too. At the level of champions, Italian football is returning, but all in all we have never gone away even if at national level we were unable to qualify for the World Cup. However, I think that whoever wins the European Championship should go by right, the regulations should be revised.

"Off the pitch my life is very simple, I follow football on Youtube with the highlights. A player that I really like now is Lautaro Martinez. I already saw him at Racing, when he was 18. At the time he wasn't called up and I remember him saying that there was still time to go. He is the symbol of Inter as well as a total, extraordinary player."
