Italy legend Roberto Baggio turns 57 today and celebrates his birthday by launching his official Instagram account.

The Italian legend didn’t have an official social media account until today when he decided to launch his Instagram profile on the day of his 57th birthday.

It is named robybaggio_official and is managed by Divin Codino‘s daughter, Valentina.

Baggio’s first-ever Instagram story was a birthday message from FIFA President Gianni Infantino. The second one was a picture of himself with a message for his followers, written by his daughter.

“Hello everyone! On my father’s birthday, we finally created his ONLY OFFICIAL social media account. Follow it and stop following the fake ones! Thank you so much.”

Baggio also shared birthday wishes from his first professional club, Vicenza, and a message for Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner, who won the Rotterdam Open on Sunday.

“I heard you talking during an interview some days ago, after your marvellous success in Australia and your humility and purity struck me,” wrote Baggio.

“I wish you to keep these values as the basis of your life. I am sure your growth will never end!”
