Barcelona are open to a shock sale this summer with Raphinha potentially offloaded.

La Blaugrana are planning changes ahead of the 2024/25 season with Xavi Hernandez looking to raise transfer funds via player sales.

With his budget stretched, Xavi will need at least one major departure, to release money to rebuild his squad.

Raphinha is expected to play a reduced role if he stays at Barcelona and that could tempt him to leave Catalonia.

Xavi is prioritising a new left winger, with Raphinha filling the role in 2024, but a specialist option is preferred, as per Diario Sport.

Barcelona are still keen on a deal for Nico Williams despite his decision to extend at Athletic Club and a move for him would spell the end for Raphinha.

The Saudi Pro League could make an offer in the region of €100m, which would free up €60m to activate Williams’ release clause, and offer Xavi a financial boost in the transfer market.
