Manchester City veteran Bernardo Silva seems poised to part ways with the Premier League side. In recent days, the Portuguese veteran has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, but there’s now a new challenger.

A recent report from Spain suggests that Silva is looking forward to joining Barcelona this summer. The report also indicates that the 2023 UEFA Champions League winner believes his time at Manchester City is over and that he has a release clause of €58 million.

However, Barcelona and PSG now reportedly face another competitor to land the veteran playmaker. Catalunya Ràdio reports (h/t Diario AS) that Bayern Munich are also keen on Silva.

It will be intriguing to see how this affects Silva’s competition. Additionally, reports indicate that Manchester City would rather see the midfielder join a team other than PSG, given the tense relations between Qatar and Abu Dhabi.

Nonetheless, if Bayern Munich are now in the race, the Premier League club might want to send the 2023 UEFA Champions League winner to Germany instead of sending him to the French capital.
