Napoli are set to welcome Amir Rrahmani, Mathias Olivera and Hamed Traore back into the starting line-up as Francesco Calzona is expected to name his strongest side to face Barcelona in the Champions League round of 16 second leg on Tuesday evening.

The Partenopei head to Camp Nou with the scores level at 1-1 from the home leg at the Stadio Maradona back in February.

Napoli must also avoid elimination if they are to keep their hopes of qualifying for the newly-revamped FIFA Club World Cup in 2025 alive.

Calzona looks set to make three changes to the team that drew 1-1 with Torino in Serie A on Friday evening, with Rrahmani likely to partner Juan Jesus in place of Leo Ostigard in central defence.

Captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo will assume his position at right-back, while Olivera could return to the team to replace Mario Rui.

Hamed Traore could come in to accompany Andre-Frank Zambo Angiussa and Stanislav Lobotka in midfield, behind an unchanged front three of Matteo Politano, Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Cyril Ngonge is the only injured absentee. Piotr Zielinski and Leander Dendoncker are not included on Napoli’s current Champions League squad list.

Barcelona have a few more injuries to contend with, as midfielders Pedri, Gavi and Frenkie De Jong still remain out, as does Alejandro Balde. Marcos Alonso and Ferran Torres are also doubts.

Xavi is expected to name his favoured front three of Lamine Yamal, Joao Felix and leading goalscorer Robert Lewandowski.

Kick-off is set for 20.00 GMT.
