Chelsea are weighing up a move to re-sign one of their former players according to a report today, and he would also be keen on a return.

This one could certainly spark up soon, with the player in question set to make his next big career move in the coming summer transfer window.

But there is interest that is not just coming in from Chelsea, and Marc Guehi is becoming quite the sought after talent this coming transfer window.

According to TEAMtalk, today, Liverpool are ready to make a firm approach to sign Guehi from Crystal Palace this summer and are hopeful of beating Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea to the signing of England regular.

Chelsea have a long-term admiration of Guehi and have him listed as a potential option this summer.

It is a move that would interest the defender as he is a product of the Chelsea youth academy and has a strong admiration of the club.

Chelsea could well join this race as it heats up, and they are also believed to having matching rights on Guehi, meaning they can match any offer that is accepted by Palace.
