Cristiano Ronaldo open to Real Madrid return?

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane raised eyebrows last week when he suggested that current Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo could return to the Spanish giants perhaps as soon as during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The feeling toward a reunion may be mutual.

Marca's Nuno Luz recently noted that Ronaldo "would leave Juventus if Real Madrid called," while adding that Zidane has dropped hints the 36-year-old goal-scorer could make his way back to Real this summer.

"He understands that his Italian adventure has come to an end," Luz wrote of Ronaldo's time with Juventus following the club's shocking elimination from the UEFA Champions League at the hands of 10-man Porto earlier this month.

The situation in Turin is made worse by the fact that Juventus sit third in the Serie A table and 10 points behind leaders Inter Milan with only 11 fixtures remaining.

Interestingly, Inter Miami co-owner and former L.A. Galaxy player David Beckham recently said he believes his club could draw an international star such as Ronaldo to Major League Soccer sooner rather than later.
