Cristiano Ronaldo upset over 'disrespectful' Real Madrid transfer rumors

Cristiano Ronaldo is not happy about the latest transfer rumors linking him to Real Madrid, accusing people of being "disrespectful."

The former Real Madrid forward was linked with a return to work under Carlo Ancelotti earlier this week. Spanish TV show El Chiringuito claimed that a return to LaLiga was in the cards, according to ESPN.

Ronaldo addressed his future in an Instagram post, saying, "My story at Real Madrid has been written. It's been recorded. In words and numbers, in trophies and titles, in records and in headlines." However, he did not commit to a future with Juventus.

In addition to Real Madrid, Ronaldo has also been linked to Premier League side Manchester City and Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Ancelotti worked with Ronaldo for two seasons during his first stint as Real Madrid's manager. They won the club's 10th European Cup together in 2014 before Ancelotti was fired in 2015.

Ancelotti signed a new three-year deal with Madrid in June after Zinedine Zidane resigned. Real Madrid began the 2021-22 season with a 4-1 win against Alaves.
