Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen 'stabilized' after collapsing during Euro 2020 match

Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen is awake and has been stabilized after collapsing during Saturday's Euro 2020 match against Finland. He is undergoing further examination at a local hospital in Copenhagen, UEFA announced:

Eriksen collapsed just before halftime and was unresponsive. Medical professionals on the scene administered CPR as the stadium fell silent. Denmark players shielded the 29-year-old from the crowd as he was carted off the field.

UEFA suspended the remainder of Saturday's match between Denmark and Finland. It's unclear when the two sides might take the field again.
