Dean Huijsen will start for Roma against Lazio on Wednesday, while Luis Alberto has recovered from an injury but is not expected to feature in the Biancocelesti’s starting XI and Ivan Provedel has a fever.

Lazio and Roma meet in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals on Wednesday and Sky Sport Italia provides the latest team news on the two clubs from the capital.

Lazio’s correspondent Matteo Petrucci says Provedel didn’t train with his teammates this morning due to a fever but doesn’t seem to be in doubt for tomorrow. Mattia Zaccagni and Gustav Isaksen were also absent from this morning’s training session and are unlikely to be involved tomorrow, due to injuries.

On the other hand, Luis Alberto completed a full training session with the team and is expected to start on the bench. Alessio Romagnoli will return to the starting XI against Roma after several weeks on the treatment table. The Italian centre-back is expected to join Patric in central defence.

The Biancocelesti will train again on Tuesday afternoon.

Roma must cope without Diego Llorente who has sustained a muscle injury, so he will be replaced by Huijsen who made his Roma debut on Sunday in a 1-1 draw against Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico. Bryan Cristante and Gianluca Mancini will complete a three-man backline.

Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku will start up front, while Rasmus Kristensen and Nicola Zalewski are favourites on the wings.
