AC Milan remain in the running to sign Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer but they are not the only club who are showing an interest, a journalist has claimed.

It has been well established that Milan need to sign a central defender during the summer transfer window given the injury problems they have had this season and the fact Simon Kjaer will depart when his deal runs out.

One of the names that the Rossoneri have been linked with is Adarabioyo, who has been very impressive for Fulham this season and at 26 years old he is getting into the prime of his career.

He is a product of the Manchester City youth academy but was not able to get consistent game time in their first team and thus moved to the west London club, who have once again secured Premier League status comfortably.

According to what is being reported by Nizaar Kinsella of Standard Sport, Newcastle are still in talks with Adarabioyo and they ‘look strong contenders’ in the race for the Fulham centre-back.

However, he also adds in his tweet that Tottenham, Milan and others are in the running for the Englishman, who as mentioned would be available on a free transfer.
