Former Inter Milan striker Jurgen Klinsmann insists Lautaro Martinez is a match for Manchester City ace Erling Haaland.

The pair will face-off next week in the Champions League final.

Klinsmann told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Reaching the quarterfinals already seemed like a great thing to me, but the final is something different.

"The great thing is that now anything can happen. City are phenomenal, but having nothing to lose, Inter almost have an advantage.

"Haaland is a fabulous 9, he also makes coaches suffer: it's useless for Inter to focus on him, it's better to go ahead with courage, taking risks and proposing an offensive football. And then this Lautaro, who has matured so much, is no less: He's at the level of the best now."
