Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze is hopeful of being back in action before the New Year.

The creative superstar has been an immense player for Palace since Roy Hodgson returned to the club last season.

However, Eze has also been dealing with various injury problems so far this season.

Per The Standard, Palace and Eze hope that he can be back in less than the initially estimated four weeks.

He suffered an ankle injury during their defeat to Luton Town in the Premier League on Saturday.

Palace have lost four of their last five Premier League games amid a mini injury crisis.
