Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the latest Chelsea deal, which is the second ‘here we go’ or done deal of the week for The Blues.

The window is now 12 days old and Chelsea have been doing some small bits of business, mainly surrounding loan deals, recalls and outgoings.

Yesterday they did both. They recalled David Datro Fofana from his loan move at Union Berlin, and now Romano has confirmed his next destination.

He’s given the ‘here we go’ confirmation on Fofana to Premier League side Burnley, which on paper looks like a good move with PL experience and that.

But in reality, is he actually going to play there? Will it be another disastrous loan like Andrey Santos to Nottingham Forest? I’m really not sure, but I’m certainly not confident that he will get enough minutes to develop there.

On the other hand if he does get minutes, it has the potential of being a very good loan.

This is the second ‘here we go’ of the week for Chelsea, with Ian Maatsen confirmed to join Dortmund earlier on this week.
