Juventus are only a step away from signing Lazio winger Felipe Anderson on a free transfer, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reports.
The 30-year-old forward has looked set to leave the Biancocelesti on a free transfer for a little while, unhappy with the offers received from president Claudio Lotito. His form in the Italian capital has disappointed this term, managing just three goals and six assists in 31 league matches.
Juventus are gearing up for a key season in their new era, returning to the Champions League after a year on the sidelines, and director Cristiano Giuntoli is looking around for the right transfer market opportunities to bolster the squad.
Felipe Anderson agreement
As reported by Romano, Felipe Anderson is only a step away from signing his contract with Juventus after a verbal agreement was reached between the two parties. Once the final details have been resolved, he’ll pen his deal with the Old Lady.
The 30-year-old is expected to receive a four-year contract worth circa €4m net per season plus add-ons, a hefty raise compared to his current deal with the Biancocelesti.
