Steven Gerrard is already a top 2 Liverpool player of all time, the only one to rival him would be the 'King', Sir Kenny Dalglish.

Since retiring from football, Gerrard has went on to have a very successful managerial career so far.

Helping Rangers win their first title in nine years and having an unbeaten season in the Scottish League.

Gerrard is worshipped by the Rangers fans just as much as he was by Liverpool. It seems like everywhere he goes, people just love the Scouser.

Despite him doing so well in Scotland, a lot of Liverpool fans are hoping that the legend returns to manage his boyhood club one day.

With Jurgen Klopp's contract ending in 2024, Gerrard is one of the managers linked with his job.

However, Liverpool fans will happily wait a few more years for a Gerrard reunion if it means Jurgen Klopp staying longer.

One ex teammate of Gerrard thinks that he will manager Liverpool one day, Dirk Kuyt.

The Dutchman had this to say about Gerrard potentially managing the Reds one day.

"I don’t know if Stevie [Gerrard] will be the next Liverpool manager after Jurgen Klopp, but for me it’s definitely sure that he would one day be the coach and manager of Liverpool.”
