Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has now dropped his predictions for the final day of the Premier League season.

This news comes after Chelsea got a vital three points on Friday night against Manchester United in what was a crucial win for the race for Champions League football next season.

One Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was at the match and he has hailed one key player in the game as being one of the best in Europe after his influence on the match.

Cahill wasn’t the only one praising this player as well, with team mate Pedro Neto joining in and picking up on the character of the Chelsea hero from Friday night.

Chelsea will now move on to their final league game of the season next weekend away at Nottingham Forest, and it’s another game they have to win the secure Champions League qualification.

Final games this Sunday

Chelsea play that Forest game on Sunday as their final game, and all the teams around them will be playing at the same time as well trying to get themselves qualified for the Champions League.

The likes of Newcastle, Manchester City, Aston Villa, and Forest are all still in this UCL battle down to the final day.

Neville’s predictions

Gary Neville said on his podcast: “That was a really important win for Nottingham Forest. They’re still up against it a little bit and they’ve got a big game coming up next weekend. Obviously Man City still have two games but they’re two difficult games actually.

“Bournemouth are a tasty opposition and then they’ve got Fulham on the final day. City will be flat after losing the cup final. They need to get themselves back up for those games and finish the job off. There’s a lot to play for in the next week and a lot of money at stake.

“At the moment I think Man City will just get in there, I think Newcastle will get in there and I think Aston Villa might just sneak in. I think Forest might just hamper Chelsea next weekend and Aston Villa should win at Old Trafford, everyone is beating Man United at the minute.”
