Chelsea have some superb talent currently out on loan trying to develop their game in order to hopefully come back and make it at the club.

One of those is former Arsenal winger Omari Hutchinson, who does look to be a real player. But he needs to learn more and develop. So off he went this season on loan to Ipswich Town in the Championship, and last night he got handed his first start.

EXCLUSIVE! Reece James untouchable and committed, Ivan Toney one to watch with traditional 9 pursuit possible, Ridiculous calls to sack Poch, Jackson gone into shell, Colwill must play CB, and more….

Ipswich went up to second in the Championship table yesterday following a 1-0 away victory against Southampton. And the goalscorer? Yes, you guessed it, Omari himself!

The 19-year-old won possession back for his side with a superb sliding challenge. He then stayed calm enough to slot the ball home with his left foot. You can see the goal here:

Omari has received a nice little review from local media after the game, who rated his performance an 8/10.

East Anglian Daily Times wrote: “Impeccable first half on his first senior start. A couple of moments where he didn’t quit make the right pass, but his decision making has improved hugely. The tackle for his goal was excellent, as was the finish, and he continued to cause Southampton’s back line all sorts of problems with his movement and energy.”
