According to Tuttosport, Juventus have put talks with Jordan Henderson on hold but have been offered the chance to sign Nemanja Matic from Rennes.

Juventus are considering whether to add a new central midfielder to their squad in the second part of the campaign and Henderson has emerged as a concrete option for the Old Lady.

However, according to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri is not entirely convinced about signing the ex-Liverpool midfielder in January, while Juventus have offered the 33-year-old a six-month contract with an option to extend for a further season.

According to the report, the English midfielder has demanded an 18-month deal until June 2025 so talks between the two parties have been put on hold.

As things stand, Henderson seems likely to terminate his contract with Al-Ettifaq and join Ajax on a free transfer instead of Juventus.

Still according to Tuttosport, the Old Lady has been offered a chance to sign former Roma star Matic who could leave Rennes this month.

The ex-Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder is not seen as a priority by Juventus and has also been offered to Milan.
