Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas has announced Jordi Alba is signing for the MLS club.
Alba, a free agent after terminating his Barcelona contract a year early, is a step away from joining Inter Miami.
Mas confirmed as much on Tuesday when speaking with reporters: "Jordi Alba will sign today.
"Messi will debut on Friday."
Lionel Messi was unveiled as Inter Miami's new signing on Sunday.
