Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta says plans are already underway for next season's title defence.

Inter have Bosman deals in place for Porto striker Mehdi Taremi and Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.

Marotta told Sportmediaset: In my mind, I'm already thinking about number 21. The next Scudetto for Inter."

And then there are numerous other goals for next season.

The Champions League, the Coppa Italia.

And above all, there is also the extraordinary event that is the Club World Cup.

There are a lot of objectives, but I always feel that I should put the title first of all. Because winning here in Italy is always tough.

It's all about trusting the people I work with, Ausilio and Baccin.

They're very good at exploring every opportunity, finding ways to bring top players to the club.

Then together we'll make decisions, as we've done throughout the last few years.

We'll have courage, and accept that some top players will choose other clubs.

And our policy also has to take into account the goal of financial stability," the executive added. That is now the case for all Italian teams."
