Jadon Sancho scored his first Champions League goal in more than two years on Tuesday as Borussia Dortmund beat PSV Eindhoven 2-0 in the second leg of their round of 16 tie.

Marco Reus was also on target in Germany as Dortmund won 3-1 aggregate, having drawn 1-1 in the Netherlands last month.

Dortmund have now reached the quarter-finals of Europe's top club competition in 10 different seasons.

Sancho - who last UCL goal had come for Manchester United in a 2-0 win over Villarreal in November 2021 - opened the scoring inside three minutes on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old loanee found the net with a low strike from 23 yards that kissed the post on its way in.

PSV had plenty of chances to equalize before Reus - after replacing Sancho as a second-half substitute - put the tie to bed in the 95th minute.

Reus finished coolly past keeper Walter Benitez following a costly slip by Isaac Babadi.
