Footballer turned TV presenter Jermaine Jenas has chosen his dream team including four ex-Tottenham stars.

While Jermaine Jenas did struggle with injuries during his playing days, the 41-year-old was fortunate enough to play in some great teams during his 13-year-long playing career. He started at his boyhood club Nottingham Forest before playing for the likes of Newcastle United, Tottenham, Aston Villa and QPR.

He even bagged 38 caps for the England national team and when asked to draft his dream team on The Fantasy Football Club via GiveMeSport, the 41-year-old came up with a star-studded lineup that included four former Spurs players.

Former Tottenham legend Ledley King took charge in the heart of the defence for him. The 43-year-old came up the ranks and featured in Spurs’ first-team for 14 years featuring in over 320 matches. He was a standout performer for them and if not for injuries, the English centre-back could have achieved a lot more.

The Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick was also a part of his dream team. The defensive midfielder was one of the best of his time and he was a part of the Spurs team for two years before he went on and achieved greatness at Manchester United.

Jenas also named Gareth Bale in his side. The Welsh winger had an incredible rise at Tottenham. He went from being a left-back to one of the world’s best wingers. After making a name for himself at the North London Club, Bale won it all with Real Madrid.

Irish legend Robbie Keane who featured in over 300 matches and contributed towards 154 goals for Tottenham was one of the front-three in the 41-year-old’s dream team.

He went ahead with the 3-4-3 formation where Shay Given was in goal. The back line comprised of Rio Ferdinand, Ledley King and Ashley Cole. David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Michael Carrick and Gareth Bale were named in the middle of the park. Wayne Rooney, Alan Shearer and Robbie Keane were the front three.
