Ahead of the clash between AC Milan and Atalanta, Pierre Kalulu spoke to the media and shared his thoughts on the task at hand, as well as his return. After almost four months on the sidelines, the Frenchman is ready to help his teammates again.

Atalanta are just seven points behind Milan in the standings and also have a game in hand, meaning a win for the Bergamo side tonight would really put the Rossoneri in difficult. And after two consecutive defeats, the confidence would hit another low.

Speaking to MilanTV ahead of the game, as cited by MilanNews, Kalulu shared his thoughts on the task at hand. It’s also a special evening for him, having recovered from the injury which kept him on the sidelines for almost four months.

On his return…

“I’m very happy and also excited, I always have chills at San Siro, I’ve worked a lot. Now I just have to find the right condition, but I’m ready to help my team again.”

On Atalanta…

“It’s a team that always puts a lot of energy into matches and on the pitch, it won’t be easy, a battle awaits us and we are ready for it.”

What is missing in defence?

“We score a lot of goals, but it’s not nice to concede so many. We have to do something more, and hopefully we will do our best job this evening.”

In addition to Atalanta, Bologna are just four points behind Milan and will also be looking to make their life difficult in the upcoming weeks. In short, a win tonight for the Rossoneri would be very important for the standings.
