Lautaro Martinez couldn’t hide his enthusiasm after Inter Milan overcame Bayern Munich to reach the Champions League semi-finals.

Speaking to Prime via FCInterNews, El Toro praised Inter’s remarkable mindset and ability to navigate the troubled waters.

It had to be him.

Despite falling a goal behind, courtesy of Harry Kane’s opener, Inter quickly turned the game on its head.

Who else but Lautaro Martinez to initiate the comeback?

Indeed, the 27-year-old hammered the ball home from close range to draw Inter level and set them up for success.

Furthermore, it was his 150th goal in the Nerazzurri shirt.

That’s not to mention he equaled Samuel Eto’o’s tally of eight goals in one Champions League campaign.

As a result, only Hernan Crespo (nine) has netted more in one season at Europe’s top table as an Inter player.

However, Lautaro can reach his tally when the Italian giants take on Barcelona in the semi-finals.

Lautaro Martinez Hails Inter Milan Mentality After Resounding Champions League Success

“Epic match? Definitely, we’ll remember it for a long time because Inter has balls this big,” El Toro said.

“There’s so much work and sacrifice behind this qualification – we never give up: we have both brains and heart.

“We suffered at some points in the match, but we can aim for great things.”

Then, the Inter talisman reiterated the team’s ambition to win every title this season.

“Every year, we think we can win everything, otherwise, we can’t play this sport,” Lautaro added.

“I thank the staff, my teammates, and our people, who once again were the eleventh man.”

Finally, he delivered his verdict on Inter’s upcoming Champions League rivals Barcelona.

“A great opponent, with a lot of history,” the Argentine superstar was adamant.

“We’ll prepare for the league first, and then focus on the Champions League.”
