Lazio are reportedly keeping a close eye on Chelsea talent Cesare Casadei and Empoli midfielder Jacopo Fazzini.

The Biancocelesti have been quiet in the January transfer window, not picking up any reinforcements over the last three weeks, but have let Toma Basic leave to Salernitana on loan. Daichi Kamada could also depart, with Galatasaray keen on a mid-season move.

Lazio have now started to look around for midfield reinforcements, open to picking up a talented youngster who can be developed by coach Maurizio Sarri.

As reported by Alfredo Pedulla, Lazio are interested in signing either Chelsea’s Casadei or Empoli’s Fazzini, believing both players would be a perfect fit for Sarri’s squad.

Casadei has just returned to the Blues from Leicester City, having his loan ended early, whilst the Tuscan outfit are hoping not to lose Fazzini as they look to avoid relegation.

Lazio need to move fast if they want to pick up a new midfielder, having less than a fortnight left in the January transfer window.
