Liverpool reaches FA Cup Final with 3-2 win vs. Manchester City

Liverpool is headed to the FA Cup Final for the first time in a decade after beating Manchester City, 3-2, on Saturday.

Ibrahima Konate got the scoring started for Liverpool with a goal in the ninth minute, and Sadio Mane pushed the lead to three with a pair of goals in the 17th and 45th minutes.

Jack Grealish got Manchester City on the board with a goal just a couple of minutes into the second half, but the club couldn't find its second goal until Bernardo Silva scored in stoppage time.

It was the second meeting in a week for Liverpool and Man City as the top two clubs in the Premier League played to a 2-2 draw on Sunday.

Liverpool is a seven-time FA Cup champion, but hasn't won the cup since 2006 and last appeared in the final in 2012 when Chelsea won, 2-1. On Sunday, Crystal Palace and Chelsea will meet in the other FA Cup semifinal. The final is scheduled for Saturday, May 14.

Manchester City and Liverpool are first and second on the Premier League table with 74 and 73 points, respectively.
