Luka Romero was happy to score in AC Milan's defeat to Real Madrid today.

Real won 3-2 in Los Angeles after the Rossoneri's initial 2-0 lead via Fikayo Tomori and Romero goals, was pegged back by two goals from Fede Valverde and one from Vinicius Jr.

Romero said, "I'm happy with the goal. When I received the ball, I only thought about kicking. The result wasn't positive, but we have to keep working because there's still a lot to do.

"Everyone is helping me a lot to fit in and I'm very grateful for that.

"I want to train and learn a lot. This is important for me. I'm happy with these first few minutes on the pitch."
