Manchester City midfielder Rodri helped his team earn bragging rights over rivals Manchester United this weekend.

The Spaniard played all 90 minutes in the contest that City won 3-1, despite having trailed 1-0 at half-time.

Rodri, who was a key figure in the contest, has not lost a game for the club since they were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham in February 2023.

He has now gone 59 games for the club without losing, which is now a record.

He has managed to pass the 58 game mark set by Ricardo Carvalho for Chelsea in 2006-2008.

Carvalho was primarily at the Stamford Bridge club during the tenure of Jose Mourinho.
