Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has met with and congratulated the club's Under-18 side.

Ten Hag has been extremely involved in the youth setup at United to try and bring through the best talents available.

As the club's academy team won the Under-18s Premier League North on Tuesday, they have earned a lot of praise from inside and outside United.

In a video released by United, Ten Hag is meeting the players at Carrington and congratulating them.

Under-18s captain Finley McAllister said: "I'd like to say a massive thank you of behalf of me and the players to all the staff, everyone that's here.

"The last few months and the results we've been getting would not be possible without sticking together, helping each other and just being the best of mates day in, day out."
