According to recent reports, Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is set to rejoin Aston Villa on a season-long loan.

That’s according to a recent from CaughtOffside , who claim the English centre-back has rejected the chance to sign for Steve Bruce’s Newcastle United and will instead spend next season with the Villians.

Tuanzebe, 23, has remained a fringe player for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, despite a hugely impressive performance in last season’s Champions League against Paris-Saint Germain.

Now expected to continue his development and rack up some much-needed first-team minutes, the 23-year-old is expected to be officially unveiled as an Aston Villa player in the coming days.
