One position that Tottenham Hotspur wants to improve this summer is the midfield. Over the past few weeks, various targets have surfaced, and now another that could be on the radar for the north London club.

According to Calciomercato, Manchester United and Tottenham will be sending scouts to watch AS Roma midfielder Nicolò Zaniolo when the Italian club visits King Power Stadium to face off against Leicester City in the UEFA Conference League semi-finals.

Despite the interest from Premier League clubs, Juventus remains the favorite to land the 22-year-old whose contract with Roma expires in 2024, so they don’t have to hurry and sell this summer.

Nonetheless, the Italian media outlet adds that Roma would want at least €55-million and €60-million for the midfielder. However, Jose Mourinho will have the final call on whether Zaniolo exits the capital club this summer.

Zaniolo has made 36 appearances where he’s scored seven goals and eight assists this season for Mourinho’s squad.
