Manchester United will host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Sunday in the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag will face Ange Postecoglu’s side for the second time this season, after losing the reserve fixture 2-0 away at Spurs.

There are just five Premier League fixtures this weekend due to a staggered winter break. It goes without saying that Sunday’s 4.30 kick-off is the pick of the bunch.

It has been a difficult season for the Reds, who have shown inconsistent form since losing at Tottenham, but this will be a chance to start the New Year on the right foot in the league and West Ham striker Michail Antonio fancies a 1-0 win for Ten Hag’s men.

“I’m going to go 1-0 Man United,” Antonio said on the Footballer’s Football podcast.

Both United and Tottenham booked their place in the FA Cup fourth round last time out, so they will be aiming for three points when they both return to Premier League action this weekend.

The Reds were 2-0 winners at Wigan Athletic and Tottenham beat Burnley.
