Yunus Musah landed in Italy Thursday night to finally complete his move to Milan, which had been agreed upon a few days ago. He’ll take the medicals and put pen to paper Friday. He’ll be the eighth purchase of the summer for the Rossoneri.
According to Sky, Valencia will cash in €20M plus €1M add-ons from the sale of the American prodigy. He has been playing in Spain since 2019 when he joined on a free transfer from the Arsenal youth academy. He has starred in 94 La Liga matches, recording 2 goals and 2 assists.
Musah will sign a five-year contract with Milan and earn €2M annually, Calciomercato informs. He’s expected to pick no.80 to honor his childhood idol, Ronaldinho. The youngster doesn’t count against the quota of extra-EU signings because he has an Italian passport.
He lived in Castelfranco Veneto until he was ten and got his start at the local team Giorgione. The 20-year-old has already appeared in 24 international fixtures with the United States Men’s National Soccer Team.

The Rossoneri had to pay a pretty penny to convince Valencia, but he’s also the younger among their newest contributors. It’ll be interesting to see how the hierarchy between him, Tijjani Reijnders, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek shakes out since they mostly feature in overlapping roles.
