Tottenham Hotspur are already planning for the upcoming summer transfer window, actively exploring options to bolster the squad.

Despite recently securing the signing of Radu Dragusin, they are still keen on signing another centre-back in the summer.

And according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Spurs are showing strong interest in Frankfurt defender Willian Pacho.

The North London outfit has reportedly made enquiries about the Ecuadorian centre-half and closely monitored his performances in the Bundesliga.

Willian Pacho joined the German club from Royal Antwerp last summer for a transfer fee of €9 million, signing a five-year contract that could keep him at the club until June 2028.

The 22-year-old has become a key player for Dino Toppmoller’s side, starting in all 19 league games this season.

He has established himself as a reliable defender, topping the charts in crucial defensive metrics in the Bundesliga this season. He holds the 6th position with 29 interceptions, ranks 3rd with 93 clearances, and sits at 6th place with 28 tackles won in the division. (Fbref) He is also comfortable on the ball, always looking to progress the play.

Ange Postecoglou would fancy a profile of a centre-ball who is equally good in possession. However, securing Pacho’s services might pose a challenge, as Tottenham would likely face competition from other Premier League clubs to pursue the talented defender.
