Defender Sergio Kalaj has officially left Lazio to join Serie C side Carrarese.

As seen on Carrarese’s Twitter page earlier today, the 21-year-old Albanian defender has signed a two-year contract with the Serie C club, leaving the Biancocelesti after four years.

Kalaj came through at Savio Calcio and spent a year on loan with Roma before signing for Lazio in 2017. He made 53 appearances for the Primavera side in his four years in the Italian capital.

The Tuscan side announced Kalaj’s arrival on Twitter, saying: “Sergio Kalaj, new pillar of the Azzurri defence.”
