PSG coach Luis Enrique has taken aim at Barcelona rival Xavi.

Ahead of their Champions League quarterfinal first-leg tomorrow night, Enrique insists he's better suited to Barca than his former teammate.

The former Barca coach declared: "It is a special match. It is a competition that we all like. Rivals that we know each other very well, perhaps too well. Fans eager to support their teams. It is important to everyone that fans are there.

"The support of our fans is going to be vital, there are going to be difficult moments in the tie and we are going to need support more than ever."

He then said: "Sorry to puncture your balloon, but I don't know the Xavi coach. I know him as a player, I know the club very well. It is a very special match for me, for the past, for the experience there. I am ready and I will give the maximum for my team.

Luis Enrique was asked about who best represents the style of Bara, if it was him or Xavi: "I am the maximum representative of the Bara style. You can see the statistics of possession, pressure, number of goals and titles. I know there are some people who will not agree but the data is there.

"This is not a bad Bara. On a good level, with experience, they have won this competition several times. There is rivalry between the two clubs, I hope it will be healthy in both stadiums, let's hope you will see two great soccer games."
