Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti had dinner with Como starlet Nico Paz amid intense speculation surrounding the youngster’s future.

Per Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the two were spotted together in a restaurant on the lake, fueling rumors Paz could join Inter.

Nico Paz is one of Inter’s dream targets this summer.

However, luring him to Stadio San Siro could prove rather complicated.

First and foremost, Real Madrid boast a buyout clause they are seemingly keen on activating.

Moreover, Como are equally eager to keep hold of their standout performer for at least one more season.

Inter Milan Vice-President Javier Zanetti Meets Nico Paz for Dinner

Zanetti and Paz dinned together in what the local papers described as a ‘friendly chat.’

However, the nature of the meeting may have had another nature.

It’s no secret that Zanetti wants to bring his compatriot to Giuseppe Meazza this summer.

Simone Inzaghi would use a player of Paz’s characteristics as his team occasionally lacked creativity this term.

Therefore, Zanetti may have laid the groundwork for the 20-year-old’s arrival.

Only time will tell whether this meeting will have any effect on Paz’s decision-making process.
