Bryan Gil arrived this past summer from Sevilla as part of the agreement that saw £21.6-million and Érik Lamela head to the Spanish club. However, the 20-year-old has yet to establish himself with the Premier League club.

As a result, one club lurking hoping to make a deal with the north London-based club. According to Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona wants to work out an agreement for the winger who might second guess his decision to play in England.

The report details that newly appointed manager Xavi Hernandez wants to add a winger this January window, and Gil is one of the options the La Liga side is considering.

Barcelona isn’t in the best financial shape at the moment, which is why they’re hoping to use Gil’s inability to adapt to English football and swing a loan deal for him.

Whether Barcelona gets Gil or not will come down to manager Antonio Conte and whether or not he sees him as part of his plans.
