Sevilla coach Quique Sanchez Flores was left pleased with his players for victory over Real Mallorca.

Sevilla won 2-1 thanks to goals from Youssef En-Nesyri and Isaac Romero.

Sanchez Flores said: "We knew that the opponent was going to be uncomfortable. We didn't have a good first half. It was difficult for us to play forward. In the second half we did have a good game."

The Nervionense are now virtually safe after a very complicated season.

"It's a roller coaster of emotions, a lot of things happen. There is precariousness in the confidence of the players. Games are lost, sometimes no explanations are found... it is a very long process but we are far from the fear that all the Sevilla fans had.

"This victory is for them," said Sanchez Flores.

He added: "Isaac is an example in terms of effort and dedication. He represents the values of honesty within the profession. He is the best that can be found in a coach. They are honest people who understand the profession well."
