Check out today’s latest news from Serie A, including the condition of Roma defender Evan Ndicka following his health scare and the advice given to Italy by legend Roberto Baggio.

Ndicka spent the night in hospital for observations and further tests following his collapse in the Giallorossi’s Serie A clash with Udinese on Sunday evening. Gazzetta dello Sport suggested that the 24-year-old is stabile and expected to be released before the end of the day.

The Milan based newspaper also tried to identify a possible reason why Ndicka collapsed during the match, highlighting a tough hit to the chest during a challenge with Lorenzo Lucca in the first half.

There was support from Roma and other clubs after the death of Mattia Giani, a 26-year-old Castelfiorentino player who passed away after suffering a heart attack during a competitive Eccellenza match (Italy’s 5th division) against Lanciotto Campi.
