Brendan Rodgers has named his team for this evening’s UEFA Champions League game against Feyenoord. The Scottish Champions have just one point to show for their toils in Europe this season and will be looking to close off their European campaign with a win.

The manager has made a big call, bringing Stephen Welsh in from the start. This decision is surely telling as to the Irishman’s thoughts on Lagerbielke’s Celtic future.

In goals, Joe Hart starts. The Englishman will be hoping to close out the group with a clean sheet.

In defence, Stephen Welsh comes in to partner Liam Scales. The defender hasn’t played since August but the manager has decided to introduce him back to the team at the expense of Nat Phillips. Greg Taylor and Alistair Johnston play in the full back positions.

In midfield, skipper Callum McGregor starts alongside Matt O’Riley with Tomoki Iwata in the slightly deeper role.

In attack, Kyogo Furuhashi will start through the middle with Luis Palma and Mikey Johnston.

On the bench: Bain, Morrison, Lagerbielke, Phillips, Turnbull, Holm, Oh, Bernardo, Forrest, Ralston
