Theo Hernandez has decided to extend his contract with AC Milan beyond the current deadline, a report claims, snubbing the advances of two top clubs in the process.

Theo joined from Real Madrid in the summer of 2019 and after initially failing to establish himself ahead of Ricardo Rodriguez, he got the nod and has never looked back. He is now regarded as one of the best full-backs in the league if not in Europe as his numbers – including 9 goal contributions in 19 games this season in the league – continue to impress.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Theo will sign a contract until 2026 which will have an option to extend it for another season, therefore until 2027. He will sign for €4m net per season plus bonuses, thus netting a nice pay rise on his previous salary.

Longo adds that the former Real Madrid man never really took into account the rumours about interest from PSG and Manchester City in recent months, and the fact he wore the armband recently was a sign of belonging to the club moving forward.
