Former Manchester United and Tottenham Target Kolo Muani to Join PSG

Frankfurt Want a Replacement Before Approving the Transfer

According to Romano, the striker once on the radar of United and Spurs is now set to join the Parisians. The transfer fee agreed upon between Eintracht Frankfurt and the Ligue 1 side is reportedly close to a whopping £77 million. The deal could be wrapped up today, in the final hours of the transfer window.

The Italian journalist has stated that although an agreement has been reached, certain details are yet to be clarified. A meeting is currently in progress to iron out the final terms of the contract.

Another obstacle in the way of the move is Frankfurt’s search for a replacement for the French forward. The German side has insisted that they will approve the deal only when they have acquired a player to take Kolo Muani’s place in attack.

Manchester United and Tottenham Interest

The Red Devils were in the market for a striker early in the transfer window. The Frankfurt striker was on Erik Ten Hag’s shortlist before his side brought young Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund to Old Trafford.

Spurs lost their star striker Harry Kane to Bayern Munich this summer and were looking for a replacement for the Englishman. The French youngster was considered as a replacement for their club-record goalscorer before PSG came in strongly to acquire the player.
