Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has made a significant change ahead of the summer transfer window, switching agents as he eyes a potential move away from the club.

According to reports from Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Hojbjerg has enlisted Luca Puccinelli from USG Italy as his new representative, signaling his intention to explore opportunities in Serie A next season.

While Serie A outfits AC Milan and Napoli have expressed interest in acquiring the Danish midfielder, Atletico Madrid from La Liga are also monitoring his situation closely, with an eye on a potential move in the upcoming transfer window.

With less than 18 months left on his current contract, which is set to expire in June 2025, there have been no updates on a potential renewal for Hojbjerg.

It has been suggested that the club has no plans on renewing his contract, considering he has fallen down the pecking order under Ange Postecoglou.

Under the Australian, the 28-year-old has found himself behind the likes of Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr.

He has made 26 league appearances but started only 6 of them. His role has primarily been as a substitute, often coming on during the game’s latter stages.

Hojbjerg initially displayed a strong desire to leave the North London club in January to secure regular playing time, and even hired a lawyer to orchestrate a move.

But he ended up staying for the rest of the season due to the lack of midfield options at the club.

However, with his future at Tottenham uncertain beyond this season, Hojbjerg appears poised for a fresh start elsewhere as he seeks regular playing time to reignite his career.
